: a. Enter your read command: e.g. READ 1/10
: b. At any point in any message, when you are prompted with:
: Press <RETURN> to continue >>
: enter "n".
: c. You will then see:
: End of Item 1.
: Press <RETURN> to read next item >>

: d. At this point pressing <RETURN> will cause HPDESK to start at the
: beginning of the next item in your list.

: I thinks this is the functionality you were looking for.

And although used HPDESK ~10years... it was only recently that I learned
how to get out of multi-part message... doing the above does not
get you to the end of the message - just to the end of the item *within*
a message.

However, if you respond to the prompt "Press <RETURN> to continue >>"
with an asterisk "*" - you'll be taken to the end of the entire multi-part
message. Well, that was exactly what I needed to get through some of
*very* long msgs that I wanted to see the beginning of only..
