Mark, Thanks for your reply last night. RE: LIB=P, I have
SL.PUB.DISC in the pub group of this acct, so the resolution usally
takes place if I use LIB=P vs XL=. I added the LMAP like you
requested, and it ignored it. The error occurs even before the
LMAP is acted on.
:RUN PROJHORD.EXE;LMAP;XL="XL.PUB.DISC"
FAILED TO LOAD PROGRAM PROJHORD.EXE.HOWELL. (LDRERR 469)
The number of XRT stated in the SOM AUX header is inconsistent with the
number
of imports in the SOM. (LDRERR 472)
Native mode loader message 472
Unable to load program to be run. (CIERR 625)
Just for grins, I ran the command with LMAP and NO XL=. Instead of
getting
unresolved references, I got the same error. LINK Edit seems to be
generating
something invalid. Thats why I am stumped. Also, understand that I
have been
working on this program all day yesterday. I ran several tests before
this
started happening. I know, I know, what changed? "Honest, I only added
a
few extra displays". Been there, done that, got the tee shirt, it
doesn't fit!
I have had this problem in the past and worked around it (from ignorance
not knowledge)
but this time I don't seem to be able to .
BTW, I don't have any of the GNU tools on my system (922 MPE iX 5.0)
To all- any help will be greatly appreciated. I would really like to
deliver this
system today, and have had the brakes put on since last night!!!
TIA for all assistance.
Joe
