stream/batch queues for the HP3000. QMS (Queue Management System) offers
up to 100 independent batch queues with numerous features and
capabilities, including limit, fence, queue priority, day and time
controls.  The software sets up in minutes and utilizes wild cards for
easy MPE configuration.
 
With its easy to use "Windows" style interface, QMS will run on any
terminal supporting ANSI codes.  QMS will increase throughput by
automating the management and flow of all types of jobs.  QMS does not
require any modifications to your existing jobs or applications and is
designed to operate as a
stand-alone product or in conjunction with 3rd party Job Schedulers.
 
QMS also has automatic job rerouting, allowing for the most efficient
throughput possible.  Other features include a 16 character queue name,
override input priority, bypass and notification parameters for each job,
interactive "Help", multiple configuration files and an enhanced :SHOWJOB
command.
