Unfortunately yes there is. We have apps that won't run on 7.x that are
mission critical. Nor do we have the resources to port them to 7.5 at
this time.
Thanks for the idea though.

Is there anything keeping you from upgrading to 7.5? I believe that
WebWise is part of the FOS.

Subject: Apache for MPE/iX 6.0 with SSL
We are presently running MPE/iX 6.0 on our HP3K 959. We've got the
freeware version of Apache from jazz.external.hp.com (I think its based
on Apache 1.3.4), but it doesn't support SSL as it is configured. At
this time I can't justify the purchase of WebWise to the people that
control the money. What I need to know is will the current version of
Apache from www.apache.org compile out-of-the-box on MPE/iX 6.0, and can
I use mod_ssl out-of-the-box (or compile it) on this version of MPE?
This project is not something I can spend a lot of time on because of
other duties, I would prefer to have it compile out-of-the-box (or if
someone has a binary they could share that would be even better. :-))
Thanks,
