with regards to programming on the VC++ it all depends on how you're looking
up the files on the SAMBA share.  If your programmers are using the
CFileFind class to get the list of files, they should be able to call
GetCreationTime() for each file and just store the filenames and sort by the
creation time.  AFAIK, there's no way to read in the filenames via a
specific method, you have to get the data and do the sorting work yourself.
