You can get software to convert 2680 env files to PCL. Several
of the major HP3000 forms packages handle the 2680->PCL issue.
In theory, these packages make the fact that the printer is now
PCL invisible. Fantasia and Formation are packages I have worked
with that seem to handle this problem fine.
