NS/VT is an HP proprietary protocol. When we first began to put QCTerm
together, we purposefully elected not to support NS/VT. It was clearly on its way
out then, and now if we're reading between the lines correctly, it's our
interpretation of what HP has been saying over the last several years that HP has
lost faith in the HP3000.

MPE is the last living system that supports NS/VT, and when the HP3000
disappears, so will NS/VT. Telnet, on the other hand, has become a nearly universal
standard.

Under those circumstances, it never made a great deal of sense to support
NS/VT going forward.
