I don't know if anyone on this list has reviewed the Oracle newsgroup
but boy was there a war of words and a lot of very, very upset users
there! It seems that release 10.x users were notified more than 18
months ago that Oracle would be dropping support and everyone would
have to migrate to release 11. Well the shops are complaining bitterly
about the cost (million$ for some). Where have we heard this scenario
before?

Also a good bit of dust ruffled up about Oracle's decision to drop HP-
UX from their internal servers. Seems the community thinks this is a
hint to Oracle dropping HP-UX completely. And Platinum Equity announced
AMISYS is going to migrate to HP-UX and Oracle....
