 Hello all,
After seeing all of the brilliant answers and help this list has provided, I am hoping that someone can help me with a small question about POSIX. I am a fairly new HP-3000 programmer, (about 1 year). Before that I was working with UNIX. I am familiar with UNIX and it seems POSIX would be of some use to me (scripts, AWK, etc...). However on our system it does not seem to be set up (if that makes sense?). I cannot access the man pages and various other things. I talked to the "powers that be" and they told me they are not that familiar with POSIX because they have not seen a need to use any of it's features. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I may be able to do in this situation (re: POSIX ).

TIA,

David Patterson
