Last night on one of the many specials (ABC) a man of Middle Eastern descent
made a profound statement. He said, "If the world truly believes in an eye
for an eye, then the world will soon be blind."

If people could quit showing their ignorance and start talking to their
neighbors we would soon learn they are just like us.

I remember living in Belfast, in the early 70's, and the Rev. Ian Pasley
would preach hatred for the Catholics (and anyone else who didn't believe as
he did) at his posh podium and in Parliament. During his services he would
send around the plate and state he didn't want to hear any noise (paper
money only, no coins allowed).
