Since others are touting their successes with antiviral and antispam
services, I felt that, as a happy customer, I should put in a good word for
spamcop.net. I pay $30 per year for this address. They do offer services to
businesses as well. I believe that I average one Asian spam a week, which
listmembers almost certainly also get.

I also use their service to "pop" what was intended to be a throwaway
hotmail account (I know it's not actually pop they use to retrieve it).
Retrieving via spamcop has proven to be more convenient than necessary. I
get neither spam nor viral email on the hotmail address, according to the
spamcop held mail report, probably because of my segregated usage. I use the
hotmail address for things like product registrations. When in doubt, I use
the spamcop address, even though it is at greater risk for "going away".

I am careful with my ISP address, since I do not want to have to retire it,
as I had to retire two other ISP's addresses due to spam. This one has
stayed almost pristine. In fact, I just learned today that Boston University
provides me an address as a student. I have no idea what use I might have
for it!
