Hi all,
I've a problem printing on my Konica 7040/7033 printer. The printer support PCL and regolary I use it with Windows.
Now I try to use this printer with my HP918LX with MPE/ix 5.5 pp7.
I configure the NPCONFIG as listed below
117 (network_address = 192.1.1.203
setup_file = HPLJ6P.HPENV.SYS
pjl_supported = FALSE
jam_recovery = FALSE)
but when I start printing, I receive this message on console:
11:04/142/Output spooler, LDEV #117: SNMP error SNMP_NoSuchName reported
while retrieving printer status.
Native Mode Spooler message 9656
11:04/142/Output spooler, LDEV #117: Cannot communicate with network printer.
Check network xport config, NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS, xport and links started status,
intermediate network, and printer status.
Native Mode Spooler message 9662
I've only SMB service installed on printer used to print from Windows without any other networking software (like JetAdmin).
On my HP3000 I also installed another printer connect with JetDirect which works correctly.
Anyone can help me?

Thanks a lot.
