It was, and now it's configured. Now, all I have to do is find out where to
set it up so that JINETD.NET.SYS gets streamed at startup, and the network
gets started...time to go digging in the FMs.

BTW, another list member told me that I could run MAPPER anyway, even with
the complaint about version 1.2 of the PDC: reply RESUME at the MAPPER
PAUSED> prompt, then RESUME again at the warning about "if you do this, the
system will crash!" (I assume that's what HPMC means). I did, and it worked
fine.

Now that it's all installed and running, I can start playing with MPE again,
for the first time in years. BTW, anyone know how to make the block-mode
stuff work on a VT220, or if there's an HP terminal client available for Mac
OS X that's not a lot of money? I've got QCTerm, and it runs fine, but I'd
rather not run a Windows box if I can help it: I usually don't have one
running, though I do ahve a couple.
