I am sorry if you are feeling unappreciated donna, but the above
statement is a little hard to swallow when you consider that, since its
inception, inquiries to the board are often met with silence or at best
a 'Sorry that is covered by an NDA'.
We cannot give feedback when we have very little idea what you are
doing. Even in the early days when some information was trickling down,
about the proposed licensing and support issues, any feedback short of
applause was greeted with accusations of negativity, ingratitude and
outright hostility from the board.
And I for one lost a lot of trust for the OpenMPE board when a board
member conducted specific market research for HP, at HP's request,
hidden behind a 'Hey guys, I was just wondering what you thought
about...' post on the OpenMPE list.
So while I wish you luck, I believe you are being played by HP and will
never see any significant part of MPE made available that will extend
the life of the product for homesteaders. I will even be amazed if you
ever see the financial contribution HP promised to you a while back.
