That's the understatement of the yea.! Welcome back to HP3000-L, Jim!

Not a welcome "welcome", indeed :-(

Someone once said that "the price of freedom is constant vigilance" (or
words to that effect). Jim's case poignantly proves this point (no pun
intended).

I have taken a FEW trips all over the place (except Zorgnak :-) between
then and now. I could certainly use all kinds of help. In particular,
please be sure to invite your friends (and your enemies?) to join me and my
colleagues as we engage in some soul-searching (and very technical)
questions and answers, including super-efficient client/server solutions
where the HP3000 outshines the alternatives. Managers would benefit
greatly :-)

Jim has provided MANY such soul-searching (and very technical) questions
and answers throughout his long and distinguished HP3000 career. I look
forward to his straight-shootin' reports from the other side of the house.
