Anyone see the below error when trying to restore from an Orbit Backup tape. Trying to rebuild system after replacing bad disc drive and cannot recover data due to the below. Replaced SCSI cable, terminator, using different FW/SCSI card, even moved the physical drives to other side of Jamaica enclosure to rule out any hardware issues.
I can also restore the SYS account from a SLT (backed up when they create a SLT) using MPE Restore and it is over 2,000,000 sectors; thus, hardware most likely not the culprit.
I appreciate any help as not sure what to try next. Thanks error below......
RESTORE:74:RESTORE: Unexpected ESCAPE encountered, parms =107,-55,11075
