My approach to prioritizing MPE enhancements has been something like this:

 - Would the enhancement be easy for the average programmer to program (e.g.:
date routines)? If so, then the enhancement gets a low priority.

 - Is the functionality currently available from a vendor (e.g.: MPEX's
support of a FOREACH)? If so, then the enhancement gets a low priority.

 - Is the enhancement something that a software vendor could develop into a
commercially viable product (or enhancement to an existing product)? If so,
then the enhancement gets a low priority.

I think that questions like these help me to identify the enhancements that
are best addressed by HP.
