Me again..

Our 928 in Houston has died with an Ldev 1 failure. External people have done an install from a borrowed SLT (7.0), and brought ldev 2 into the system domain. Some other aspects of this set up are not working for them, so I will be on my way there Sunday. I propose to do an install of a 7.5 CSLT cut on a 928 .

Question - will this process leave ldev2 with its current name and status, or will I have to do some more work to bring it in?
Will an install scratch all data off both drives ? I think so.

Thanks for any hints. Its been a while now since I last did this, and my brain has been turned off.

john
