hi all

(let's talk about something different....)

i've got 'analog' running on one of my 3000s (i thing
andreas did the port??) and i'm making changes to the
configuration file.

i discovered that most connections made to my web server are
coming in with an ip address rather than a name. i know
(having looked at the log files) that (nearly?) all the
connections are fine. that is, they're coming from inside
longs. (btw, this system is behind our firewall and there
is no direct internet connectivity). what i'd like to do is
tell analog how to interpret ip addresses. that is, if the
first two octets are a.b -- i basically know who the user is
and would like analog to be able to tell me this (all i'm
getting right now is unresolved numerical address). has
anyone dug into analog this far yet? - d
