Most of these kinds of printers have tools oriented toward the Windows
environments. Our print redirector
http://www.xformix.com/xprint/index.htmlallows you to send the document from
the HP 3000 to a Windows computer. From there you can use the vendor
provided tools. If the vendor has a configurtion tool that exposes an API
to a Windows program, you can create a solution that processes an
environment file sent from the HP 3000 with your output. This will allow
you to avail youself of all of the products functionality in the vendors
supported way.
