We've discovered that IMAGESQL.PUB.SYS ATTACH fails to register the Third
Party Indexes for Omnidex 3.04.50 under 5.5pp4.

A very important ODBC application (student ID cards) that used to retrieve
data in mere seconds is now taking 90 seconds to retrieve the same data (via
serial read) while students are standing in line.

We've opened an HPRC call, and this doesn't appear to be a known problem. HP
has been able to reproduce the problem internally, and is looking at the code.

We had something similar happen under 5.5 last October. Back then the HPRC
told me to force on a *5.0* ATCxxxxx patch which solved the problem. But
since then, we've gone to pp3 and now pp4, overlaying that patch. I suspect
this may be the first time we've attempted to re-ATTACH since pp3/pp4.

So beware if you're using Omnidex and IMAGESQL. You may not be able to
re-ATTACH. :-(
