I've got several zebra barcode printers connected to a couple different
types of jetdirect boxes working just fine with my 979. From my npconfig
global (setup_file = pclelite.HPENV.SYS # LaserJet 4Si setup file.
message_interval = 60 # Repeat msgs every >= 60 secs.
banner_trailer = FALSE
banner_header = FALSE
pjl_supported = TRUE # LJ4Si is a full PJL device.
jam_recovery = TRUE) # Reprints jammed pages by
itself.
74 (network_address = 10.0.0.82 # eq polish bench barcode
pjl_supported = FALSE )

We have a couple of label printers running serially from PCs, but we want to
run them directly on the MPE network. When we try this, they dont work as
they are not PCL aware. We have tried telling NPCONFIG to stop PCL etc, but
still no go.
Has anybody BTDT with the std hp spooler please?
TIA,
John Pitman
