My department desires to create a data link between the HP management work order system (Turbo Image/Allbase database) residing on a HP3000/918 and Primavera Project Planner 2.0 residing on Windows NT 4.0 workstations. Both packages indicate they are ODBC compliant. The ability to create reports using data from both databases is desired using software such as MS Access. At this point, I am not sure what the best approach for connecting these two databases together. Perhaps creating an Oracle 7 database to be accessed by both software packages and using the Oracle gateway software would be a possible solution. We are still in the data gathering part of the project. Any suggestions????

Also, does anyone know of any consultants in the San Antonio, Texas area having experience with the HP management system (Turbo Image/Allbase databases) and Primavera Project Planner? Please send any consultant information to [log in to unmask]

Thanks in advance.

Bryan
