The bad news is that all HP3000 memory (and for that matter HP9000)
memory is proprietary, so run of the mill, "off the shelf memory"
for the any 9x8 (or other HP3000 or 9000) is out of the question.

The good news (and I hope I am not going to get squished for
this, but...) is that Strategic Solutions is sending Interex
members who purchase competively priced memory for their HP
systems all expenses paid to HP World August 24-28. This includes
airfare to O'Hare airport in Chicago, Conference Registration
and Hotel for the week.

For those interested, email your phone, fax and address and I will
be sure to mail a copy of the HP World program guide and full details.

Information is on our website at http://strategicmemory.com Excellent
Chicago visitors information is available at
http://chicago.il.org/VisitorInfo/Visitors1.html

Have a great day!
