* Sun cancelled their support of ia-64 (Itanium) after that page was
  written

* ia-64 is both big AND little endian. The o/s gets to choose
  and hp-ux chooses big and linux chooses little.

* Jeff Woods still believes little endian systems are a hack in
  the worst way. However, this comment is coming to you 3'rd person
  and we should let Jeff himself defend his big-ness honor :-)
