It may be "an acceptable way to go", but a web page most definitely is not
"just like block mode". For one thing, most web pages are "stateless" (as
are some other screen handlers from days gone by - DCL (I think?) on the
Unisys comes to mind). Most View programmers (that is, programmers who use
View) are used to "stateful" screens where the application is in control at
all times.
