The only 8GB disk arrays which I'm aware of that are supported on the
3K's are the C2259B/HA 'Cascade' arrays. Those you mention don't
appear in either the current "HP3000 900 Series Configuration Guide" or
"... Systems Ordering Guide". You probably want to check with the
Response Center to confirm this.

We are running an HP3000 on:
RELEASE: C.50.02 MPE/iX HP31900 B.79.06 USER VERSION: C.50.02
with powerpatch 3 installed.

We got an offer for some 8GB disk arrays(?):
Model: C2440JA
Age: 18 months
Price: $4600.00 each

1. Is such a device supported on our machine? (The person that provided the
info works mostly on unix machines)
2. Is that a reasonable price?

Thanks
