AC-NOTES is a different file (IMAGE detail dataset) used in the
REQUEST that ran immediately prior to the REQUEST that is accessing
the ALIASES file when both REQUESTS were in the same RUN. The
original issue was that an artefact from the previous REQUEST was
showing up in the output of the subsequent REQUEST, which was only
ACCESSing the KSAMXL file named ALIASES in the PDL.
I extracted the ALIASES file request into its own RUN and while the
artefact in the resulting SUBFILE disappeared the underlying problem
remained. Now at record offsets of +82,+83 two nul records are
inserted instead of residual data from the previous REQUEST.
