As I wrote in a previous post a few weeks ago, Glance per se does not
capture data. GlancePak does, with the Scope/iX product included in the
pack.

If you just have Glance (B1787B, from memory), the only thing you can do is
use the print feature, redirect your print output to a standard flat disk
file (:FILE GLANCELP=whatever you want;SAVE;DEV=DISC;NOCCTL), run Glance and
then parse your ASCII output for whatever relevant data you are looking for.

But beware, your disk file will merely look like Glance screens appended
after one another.

There may be more practical alternatives to what you are trying to achieve :
GlancePak (from HP), with PerfView to analyze the logged data, SOS (from
Lund) and perhaps a few others.

Oh, and if you need a free-lance performance consultant, you know where to
find me.

HTH,

Christian Lheureux
