I am not sure why the first one worked.

The problem is you are pointing to two output files.

i.e.

Normal store

:STORE @[log in to unmask]@;*t;show
^
|

File equate reference to STORE output

However

When storing to multiple disc files using a store set

:STORE @[log in to unmask]@;;STORESET=(*STD1), (*STD2)
^
|

Requires a positional? ";"

Or at least that is how I understood it to work.
