Those of us who were regulars at the UK HPCUA Conferences,
and with memories long enough to remember Allbase/4GL, may recall that
HP repeatedly referred to this product when it came out as 'strategic'.

A year later it was gone. Indeed, my business card case may be the only
evidence that it ever existed.

By analogy with 'those whom the Gods wish to destroy, they first make
mad', I have always held that 'those products that HP Management wish to
discontinue, they first make strategic'.

If I'd been at HPW-2001 and heard those representations, I'd have been
*way* ahead of you re 11-14....
