Jim McCoy asks about the SUPRTOOL statement

and notes different results for

> DEF XK,X-KEY[1],2
> IF XK = "PC"

Rather than analyze these statements, allow me to muddy the waters
further with the construct that I personally prefer:

  IF X-KEY = "PC"@

which may be quicker (I don't know as I haven't checked; it just
"feels" better).
