Well, this might be because the HP 3000 performance numbers are not based
on trendy numbers like MIPS, specInt, Dhrystones, or whatever interesting
unit of measurement but on running typical "real world" applications.
Of course, the YMMV disclaimer still applies. Not all app's are created equal.
