say that this was a bug.  There is no time frame for fixing it though.

My memory is *extremely* hazy on this one, but I believe I remember a
previous thread on this very problem. This is a known
bug, which may or may not have a fix yet. An obvious temporary workaround
would be to use FINFO to check the limit of the
file before sending and send up a red flag.
