The first thing you need to do is to grab the console by using the
command console x (where x is your own device number).
Once you have the console, you can allow yourself or anyone else the use
of the allow command.
If I remember right, you don't need 'OP' capability to use the operator
commands but you must have been allowed the command.
Second, I believe any allowed command particularly given to a specific
user (no wild cards), will only be valid for the duration of the current
logged-in users. If there are no qualified users, then the allow
command is either ignored or returns an error.
