I am trying to do what Denys Beauchmin did on the TeleConference with
little success.
 
I am useing the Novell Client for Windows and Dos TCPIP software.  I had
to wait for version 1.2 ( they were out of stock on version 1.1).  I
installed the software without a hitch.  MiniSoft is working fine with
the 3000 using WSOCKETS.
 
I don't have the SalesDBE that Denys used- instead am using the PartsDBE
that is in the SAMPLEDB.SYS and is used in the ALLBASE How To Book.
 
I got a new release of IMAGE/ALLBASE and Information Access Tape about 2
weeks ago and installed it.  Didn't have any problems with downloading
and installing the HPPCAPI and InfoAccess stuff to the PC.  It seems that
all mu software is just a little bit different than the examples.
 
I can't seem to get a connect to the 3000 nor do I get any meaningful
error messages.  I there a Trouble shooting file somewhere?  Is it
possible to log the events that are happening?  (But then again I haven't
a clue what should be happening?)
 
I am also trying to access the PartsDBE from Lotus - with similar lack of
success?
 
Help-  any clues are appreciated.
