Hello All,

We have this third-party VB application that accesses some datasets through
the ODBCSE driver (the free one) and we are having some problems that we
cannot get to the bottom of.

We have our datasets & Image/SQL stuff set up exactly yhte same on 2
different 3000's. The databases were built from a schema file and then a Job
is run with all the sql stuff in it. We used the same schema & job on both
servers. Groups, Accounts, Permissions, Users, everything is exactly the
same
on both servers.

When we run the program on our server, it works fine it does a read,
preforms
some task, and writes back to the database to change a status to complete.

When we run it against our customers machine, it does a read, performs a
task
but then gives us the following error in the ODBCLOG file on attempt to
write
back.

[Allbase] IMAGE/SQL error164; TurboIMAGE error -242; TurboIMAGE intrinsic
420, & Auxiliary error 6554488. (DBERR 13552)

Can anyone help us out, we are at a dead end here, we've rebuilt databases,
reinstalled software. Nothing works.
--------------------------------------------------
The error is from DBXBEGIN (intrinsic 420) and is Image error -242 "Error in
TurboGTX file operation". The manual says notify HP Personnel about this.
Call soon before the last one is out the door.
