Actually (believe-it-or-not), "disc" is a variation of "disk". I used to
believe that the word "disc" came from "discus", but a "discus" is actually
a "disk".

What a screwy language - I'm so lucky I had the opportunity to learn English
with a "virgin" brain, unpolluted by more logical languages.
