After receiving my bulletin from "The Economist" - I noted that the lead
story was on "The Millennium Bug".  Figuring it might just be a bunch of
hype, I figured I'd check it out.

It's an extremely well written, well balanced piece.  Required reading by
technical and management people alike.  Print it out if your boss still
thinks it's going to go away by itself, or if "vendors will have it
fixed"...
