WOW, did this blow my mind! I was able to do this almost exactly the
same way you showed in your post! (I say 'almost' because I don't have
direct access to the Internet from my HP3K's, but I was able to FTP the
files to one of our file servers and then ftp to a 3000.) I then ran the
tar, zip and unzip and it worked beautifully!

This is okay since it's going on a PC diskette and the *last* thing the
client wants is MPE FLABEL info!

Thanks to Mark, Donna, Chris, and Scott, you guys really came through
for me! (and thanks, especially, to Neil Harvey & Assoc for porting
zip!)

Have I used enough !!!!s yet??? =-D
