Odd problem I don't recall seeing before...

MPE 7.5 on 192.168.2.0 subnet (my local), remote system, same release on 192.168.5.0. Can logon to both, both have JINETD running, but neither will connect with other, just hangs.
NETTOOL on the local network cant ping the 5. Machine, but the 5. System can ping the 2. System....?

Only recent change was the external IP of the remote site changed , we had to change address in VPN definition, all seemed OK.

Do one or both machines need to have some cache cleared - ARP ? Don't recall where to do that in nettool.

Suggestions please...

As an aside, looking at the JINETD spoolfile, it says 193 lines, but it will show 1000s of blank lines if asked?
