Actually all the military service records of an individual are not
public record. Certain records are available only to the service member
or members of his/her immediate family after the service member's
death. Having recently gone through the Department of Defense
procedures to obtain copies of my father's service record, I can verify
that certain records are available ONLY to the service member. The
service member can choose to release all their records to anyone, using
of course the proper DOD form. Kerry has not done this - and some are
calling on him to do so. If what the swift boat veterans group is
saying is not true Kerry can put all this to rest by authorizing the
release of his FULL military service record. After all, President Bush
has ordered the DOD to release any and all available records on his
service history and it has done so.

Well it won't be by Tech Group University (Jon Bakus' enterprise) but
he still has the link on the openmpe.org pages... hummmm....
