i'd sure like an answer to this reboot question.  we reboot
our mpe systems (normally) every week.  on the small boxes,
it's not such a big deal, but on our 995, you're looking at
a good half-hour.  and this is on a system with an ever
shrinking maintenance window <sigh>            - d
