How many list members' companies are really going to migrate to HP-UX?

How many are migrating to some other HP hardware (HP/Wintel, for example)?

I would expect that the surverys that have been published over the last
couple of months would have already indicated to HP that the majority of
their HP3000 customers are NOT going to buy some other HP platform to
replace their 3Ks.

Further, Why migrate to HP-UX? Sure, HP's giving you a price break on
hardware and licensing, but isn't that setting yourself up for migration to
another platform 5 or so years later?

Patient: "Doctor! It hurts when I do this."

Doctor: "Then, don't do that!"

or, from SNL - "I HATE when that happens!"
