That's my understanding, Ray. I think all the presentations will be up
on the GHRUG site.
I know there were many pics taken and Ron Sebold was doing his usual
excellent job of being everywhere at once. Below is a link to Ron's
write-up on the 3000 NewsWire...

Perhaps we'll see you and more of the 3000-L gang there next year.

Good to hear, Jack, (and thanks). I personally wanted to go, but the
company I work for wasn't able to fund the trip, and I just couldn't
swing the money myself. Hopefully, the proceedings will be posted for
those of us not fortunate enough to have been able to attend?

Ray,
The GHRUG folks did a great job putting the convention together.
The UofH at Clearwater facilities were excellent and the tracks on
homesteading as well as conversion tools were well prepared and
presented. I understand the same can be said for all the tracks.
HP's Jeff Vance and Jennie Hou were there to give updates on MPE and HP.
As usual, Alfredo gave an upbeat and insightful kickoff presentation.
All in all, the only downside to the event was the lack of turnout. I
believe they're planning another convention for next September. From
personal experience, I know there are a lot of 3000 shops out there that
plan to stick with what works well beyond 2008. Perhaps we'll see more
of their participation once OpenMPE really gets it's teeth into the
transition.
Hope all that were there agree with my assessment. I really enjoyed
renewing old acquaintances as well as making many new ones.
Regards,
Jack Connor
