Jeff gave us the latest update on the 918/DX:

>Compilers: C/iX, Pascal/iX, Fortran 77/iX, COBOL II/iX,
> Business Basic/iX
>HP s/w: Image/SGL, Allbase/SGL, Glance/iX, AIFs

>3rd party s/w: [...SNIP... the growing list of good stuff....]

>Looking pretty sweet!

Yup.....

Then Jeff P.P.S.'d on my RAPID issue:

>p.p.s. Ken mentioned Transact, and I have tried to confirm
>this but can't reach the right people today. I will update this
>list when I find out.

I'm not worried: The HP people from SSG - Roseville were
unequivocal the way I heard it: TRANSACT/iX will be on the
918/DX.... And, yeah, at least one of those HP managers is
sending out her usual email autoreply saying she's gone for
a few days.... When they do answer, ask them if they have
decided to include DICTIONARY/3000 yet.. ;-)

Thanks, Jeff, for all your work on this.. and all the other stuff.
