all but a few of our printers (where the network administration in Europe
does not believe in DNS) use DNS. in fact we hate hard coded IP
addresses. my hope would be that only in nmmgr for the system and in
reslvcnf would be the hard coded IP addresses. all else would be names.

Setting up printers on an HP3000 using DNS
Is it possible to setup printers on an HP3000 system using DNS?
I have heard from my client that HP staff have told them no way
or that there are problems doing this.
Any help would be appreciated
