Out of 3 products you mentioned, I am familiar with VESOFT and DBGENERAL
from Bradmark.  VESOFT  (Backg needs ver 29N00420 or later). For DBGEN ver
7.2/17 (not 7.2.17) is required. If you use option 9.1 for dbgeneral, then
request a tape from Bradmark. EZReporter needs minimum ver 7.0 Nobix
(Jobrescue needs ver 6.1.d.
These are some of the products I had to update, however this list is not all
inclusive and I am sure I am forgetting to list other 3rd party products
which I had to update during update to o/s 6.5
