So does that mean that Windows (whatever version) stores passwords out on the
C: drive in an UNencrypted manner?  Does that also mean that various hard
drive backup utilities write out this password data to tape also as
UNencrypted data????

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is one security weakness of MPE/iX.  But
then I'm sure that HP will have that fixed by the 8.0 release.... way ahead
of Bill Gates and his proprietary OSs.
