I know that Jeff's purpose is to get CUSTOMER opinions, since us
labbies are frequently too far removed from the Real World, but I
can't help but jump in to support this -- it has always seemed
wrong to me that :PRINT does not, as its usual behavior, cause
a file to be printed, but rather DISPLAYed (or TYPEd, if you're
an MS-DOS fan, but I hate that terminology as well).

Because I also like the suggestion that ;RAW should be the
default, and doing this for :PRINT could cause existing jobstreams
or command files to break, a DISPLAY command provides the perfect
opportunity to create what :PRINT could/should have been,
without breaking backward compatibility.

Of course, if this option is not chosen, Jeff, I'll still jump
on the offical HP bandwagon and say that it was a completely
unworkable, ill-advised concept :) .
